July 7, 1962 - Sugar Ray Robinson (left) and Davey Moore are the headliners Monday on the Los Angeles Sports Arena boxing card. The 41-year-old Robinson will meet Phil Moyer (right) of Portland, Ore., in a 10-rounder. Robinson defeated Moyer in their first fight, but Moyer was the winner on points when they met earlier this year. Moore, the featherweight champion, will fight Mario Diaz in a non-title 10-rounder. For Robinson, former welterweight and middleweight champion, it will be his first bout in Los Angeles since December 1960, when he was narrowly defeated by Gene Fullmer for the middleweight title.
