Sept. 14, 1961 - New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller (pictured left) refused to be pinned down today on whether he would serve a full, four-year term if re-elected next year. "More politicians have gotten themselves into trouble answering that question than you shake a stick at," Mr. Rockefeller said. "I'm not going to be one of them." Mr. Rockefeller has been mentioned as a possible Republican Presidential candidate in 1964, as has Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater and former Vice President Richard M. Nixon.
