July 2, 1962 - Raul Castro (left), Cuban Minister of the Armed Forces, arrived in Moscow today, the Soviet press agency Tass reported. The Cuban leader, who is the younger brother of Premier Fidel Castro, was met at the airport by Marshal Rodion Y. Malinovsky, Soviet Defense Minister, and other high officials. The report gave no indication of the length or purpose of the visit.
