Dec. 2, 1963 - Lynda Bird Johnson (left), 19-year-old daughter of the President, resumed classes today at the University of Texas under Secret Service security. Minutes after President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas Nov. 22, Miss Johnson was taken by Secret Service agents from her dormitory to the Governor’s mansion in Austin and put under protection. Today she returned to a full schedule of classes. A Secret Service man was with her at all times. Her sister, Lucy Baines, 16, also returned to classes today at the National Cathedral School for Girls in Washington, where she is a high school junior.
