Aug. 7, 1961 - It is now official that Richard Burton will quit the musical "Camelot" on Sept. 16 to act with Elizabeth Taylor in the film "Cleopatra." A spokesman for Mr. Burton confirmed a report that the management of "Camelot" received more than $50,000 to release Mr. Burton, whose contract would have expired Dec. 2. Mr. Burton and Twentieth Century-Fox, producer of "Cleopatra," shared in the expense.
