Mar. 11, 1962 - Ethel Waters (pictured with Billy Graham in 1957), the singer and actress, was recovering at her home today after she had collapsed while singing at a Youth for Christ program last night at the Church of the Open Door. “The Lord took care of the situation,” she said, “and I’m just fine.” Miss Waters, who had been hospitalized with a serious heart ailment in 1960, was taken to her home in a private ambulance.
