Mar. 30, 1963 - Hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 today is “He’s So Fine,” a song recorded by The Chiffons, a girl group from the Bronx. "He's So Fine" was written by Ronald Mack, an acquaintance of the Chiffons' members who set himself up as their manager after overhearing them harmonize at James Monroe High School.
