Aug. 25, 1961 - Mercedes McCambridge, actress, is being sued for divorce by her husband, Fletcher Markle, movie director and producer. Mr. Markle filed the suit in Los Angeles Superior Court today. Miss McCambridge, who won an Oscar for her performance in "All the King's Men" (1949), has battled alcoholism, and she has been hospitalized several times after bouts of heavy drinking. She married Mr. Markle in 1950.
