[VIDEO] Oct. 5, 1964 | RFK at Columbia University

Oct. 5, 1964 - At Columbia University tonight, Robert F. Kennedy took part in a question-and-answer session with 1,000 students at Ferris Booth Hall. The Democratic Senatorial candidate was greeted enthusiastically by students outside the hall before the session, and he delivered a short talk from the top of an automobile. After the meeting, 2,000 students waited for him on 114th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam Ave. They cheered and booed and shoved as he answered questions.
