Jan. 4, 1962 - Tonight on “The Untouchables,” Father Francis Gregory (Arthur Hill) thinks a miracle has happened when Joe Palakopolous (Simon Oakland, pictured), known as Mr. Pal to his friends, walks into his church. Pal provides several hundred dollars to start up a soup kitchen. He also buys the church a new organ and puts up a cross atop the church steeple. What Father Gregory doesn't know is that Pal is a gangster who smuggles in whiskey from Canada and is using this small community as a base of operations. 10 p.m. on #ABC.
