Oct. 11, 1963 - Tonight’s episode of “The Twilight Zone” is entitled “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.” It is based on the short story of the same name by Richard Matheson, first published in the anthology “Alone by Night” (1961). The story follows Bob Wilson, a passenger (William Shatner) on an airline flight who notices a hideous creature trying to sabotage the aircraft during flight. Adding to Bob’s troubles is the fact that he is apparently the only person on the plane who sees the disgusting creature. Everyone else thinks he is insane. 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
