Sept. 22, 1964 - On tonight’s series premiere of “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” U.N.C.L.E. agent Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn) is assigned to foil an assassination plot by THRUSH. The criminal organization’s target is a delegation from the newly independent African nation, Western Natumba. The plot is under the supervision of Andrew Vulcan (Fritz Weaver), a U.S. industrialist secretly working for THRUSH. Solo recruits an old flame of Vulcan’s (Victoria Shaw) as part of his plan. 8 p.m. on NBC.
