Nov. 21, 1963 - Tonight on “Rawhide,” Rowdy (Clint Eastwood, bottom left) and Rabbit (Warren Oates, bottom right) are shooting a school bell for fun when a citizen notices that a man is dead. One of the locals spreads the news that a local gunslinger has been killed with a shot ricocheting off the bell. Rowdy and Rabbit are urged to leave town after the victim’s brother, a fiery but insane preacher (Dan Duryea, top), puts a death curse on them. 8 p.m. on CBS.
