May 14, 1964 - Tonight on “Dr. Kildare,” Hildy Pochek (Lois Nettleton, left), the wife of a Blair Hospital kitchen worker, refuses to undergo exploratory surgery to discover the extent of a tumor, telling Kildare she knows she is going to die. Kildare tries to get her husband (Gerald S. O’Loughlin) to convince her to have the surgery, but this only leads to friction as Mr. and Mrs. Pochek are unable to communicate due to different outlooks on life. 8:30 p.m. on NBC.
