May 3, 1964 - Tonight on “Bonanza,” Dev Farnum (Dennis Hopper, right with Susan Seaforth) is riding near the Ponderosa when his horse goes lame. He gets another horse from the Cartwrights but hasn’t enough money to pay them. Farnum offers to work for it, but when he develops a lot of blisters, they find out he’s not just a preacher’s son — he’s a bounty hunter. When his quarry's wife turns out to be pregnant, Farnum uses that to trap him, even if it might risk Little Joe’s life. 9 p.m. on NBC.
