Feb. 13, 1962 - “The Real McCoys” will pull up stakes on ABC-TV and switch to CBS in the fall. The long-running series, which started on ABC five years ago and stars Walter Brennan (left, with Richard Crenna), will appear on CBS Mondays at 8:30 p.m. The new deal provides for reruns that will be televised on the daytime schedule. The nighttime period the show will occupy on CBS is now filled by reruns of “Father Knows Best,” which will move to ABC in the fall.
