Mar. 15, 1962 - “The Beverly Hillbillies,” a comedy series starring Buddy Ebsen and Irene Ryan, has been added to the CBS-TV schedule for next fall. It will be televised on Wednesdays from 9 to 9:30 p.m. The show depicts a rural family who become millionaires and move to Beverly Hills, Calif. A featured player in the cast will be Max Baer Jr., son of the late prizefighter. “Beverly Hillbillies” will be written and produced by Paul Henning. The sponsors are the R.J. Reynolds Company and the Kellogg Company.
