Jan. 22, 1962 - Rod Serling, who started in television as a writer and now is the producer of “The Twilight Zone,” will make his acting debut on the CBS sit-com “Ichabod and Me.” Filming of the half-hour episode began yesterday in Hollywood. Mr. Serling will portray a famous novelist who attempts to live in isolation in a New England town.
