Mar. 23, 1965 - Blair General Hospital will be turned into a music hall April 15 when NBC’s “Dr. Kildare” television series presents a musical revue.
The episode, entitled “Music Hath Charms,” will star Darryl Hickman, Rosemary De Camp, and Dorothy Provine, in addition to series regulars Richard Chamberlain and Raymond Massey.
In the story, Dr. Kildare will be asked to produce the hospital’s annual revue. He soon finds that he has a willing but somewhat bungling cast. Miss De Camp plays a seriously ill patient who refuses to undergo surgery until Dr. Gillespie (Massey) agrees to sing.
Edward J. Lasko wrote the script for the program as well as the music and lyrics for three of the songs to be used.
