Mar. 13, 1962 - Johnny Carson will have at least one special fling on ABC-TV before he departs for NBC. Mr. Carson, now host of ABC’s “Who Do You Trust?,” will be master of ceremonies for an hour-long comedy show on that network Friday, April 6, at 10 p.m. Accompanying him will be Buddy Hackett, Wally Cox, and others still to be chosen. The show will be sponsored by the United States Time Corporation for Timex watches. Next fall, Mr. Carson will become the permanent replacement for Jack Paar on NBC’s late-night series.
