Dec. 13, 1962 - Starting Dec. 31, NBC will have a new daytime show called “The Match Game.” The game will feature contestants trying to match answers given by celebrity panelists to fill-in-the-blank questions. Gene Rayburn (pictured) will be the host and Johnny Olson will serve as announcer. For the series premiere, Arlene Francis and Skitch Henderson will be the two celebrity panelists.
