Jan. 4, 1963 - Steve McQueen, current star in “The War Lovers,” will appear opposite Natalie Wood in “Love With the Proper Stranger,” which Robert Mulligan will direct for Paramount. The comedy-drama, which will go before the cameras in March, has been written by Arnold Schulman. A salesclerk (Wood) at Macy's department store finds herself pregnant after a one-night stand with a musician (McQueen) who does not remember her.
