Sept. 24, 1963 - Here are some of President Kennedy’s remarks today at the Pinchot Institute of Conservation Studies in Milford, Pa. In his speech, the President discussed Gifford Pinchot's contributions to the American conservation movement, suggested that conservation efforts incorporate technological advancements, and explained that the Federal government must provide a national policy framework for conservation and resource development.
