On Sale Today: “It’s All Over Now,” a Single by the Rolling Stones

June 26, 1964 - On sale today is the latest single from Britain’s Rolling Stones, “It’s All Over Now.” The B-side is “Good Times, Bad Times.”

After hearing “It’s All Over Now” by the Womack Brothers, also known as The Valentinos, on the radio, the band (pictured today on “Ready Steady Go!”) recorded their version nine days later at Chess Studios in Chicago — just 16 days ago. The Stones concluded their first American tour with two performances at Carnegie Hall on June 20.
