NFL: Bart Starr Leads Packers to 30-7 Victory over Dallas in Exhibition

Aug. 11, 1961 - Bart Starr, a former Alabama ace, passed the Green Bay Packers to a 30-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys today in an exhibition between NFL teams. Starr threw five yards to Paul Hornung for one touchdown and set up two others. His passing and running, combined with the dashes of Jim Taylor, led to a fourth touchdown. Taylor's 16-yard field goal completed the Green Bay scoring.
