Feb. 15, 1963 - On sale today is a new long-playing album by The Crystals (pictured), “He’s a Rebel.” The album, the second by the New York girl group, represents an effort to take advantage of their hit song, “The Rebel,” written by Gene Pitney, which went to No. 1 last year. The new album was produced by 23-year-old Phil Spector.
