June 26, 1963 - “The Wheeler Dealers,” a new MGM romantic comedy co-starring James Garner and Lee Remick, has been booked as a late fall attraction by the Radio City Music Hall. The Martin Ransahoff production was directed by Arthur Hiller. Phil Harris, Chill Wills, and Jim Backus head the supporting cast of the color film. In the story, a big-time Texas wheeler-dealer (Garner) who is Ivy league-educated but plays dumb runs out of money and goes to New York City to raise $1.2 million.
