Dec. 2, 1962 - From MGM comes word that the indestructible “Tarzan” is still very much alive. The Edgar Rice Burroughs character, muscular hero of many adventures since 1915, will swing through the jungle trees again in “Tarzan’s Three Challenges.” The film will star Jock Mahoney in the title role and is scheduled to be filmed by Sy Weintraub’s Banner Productions for MGM. Robert Day will direct on location in the Philippines from an original screenplay by Berne Giler. Mr. Mahoney previously starred in “Tarzan Goes to India,” which was released last summer.
