Mar. 2, 1962 - “Sweet Bird of Youth,” the MGM version of Tennessee Williams’ play co-starring Paul Newman and Geraldine Page in their original stage roles, will follow “Sergeant’s 3” at New York’s Capitol Theatre. Richard Brooks adapted and directed the production. The supporting cast is headed by Ed Begley, Mildred Dunnock, Rip Torn, and Shirley Knight.
