July 8, 1962 - Brian Keith, Tommy Kirk, Marta Kristen, and Kevin Corcoran will be featured in “Savage Sam,” a sequel to Fred Gipson’s “Old Yeller.” The film will go into production August 6. Norman Tokar will direct the Walt Disney production. In the story, Travis (Kirk), Arliss (Corcoran), and Lisbeth (Kristen) are captured by Apaches, while Uncle Beck Coates (Keith) and Sam, Old Yeller’s son, track their trail.
