June 7, 1962 - Twentieth Century-Fox’s “Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation” has been selected as the official American contribution to the forthcoming Berlin Film Festival, starting on June 22. Maureen O’Hara and James Stewart, the stars of the comedy, will be present for the screening. The movie opens next Friday at New York’s Paramount Theatre. In the story, Mr. Hobbs wants to spend a quiet holiday at the beach, but his wife has invited all their family to stay with them.
