Mar. 31, 1963 - “Love With the Proper Stranger,” an Alan Pakula-Robert Mulligan project starring Steve McQueen and Natalie Wood, began location shooting in New York City last week and will continue for another two weeks. In the story, a salesclerk (Wood) at Macy's department store finds herself pregnant after a one-night stand with a musician (McQueen) who, when confronted, does not remember her.
