Dec. 26, 1963 - Jack Lemmon and Virna Lisa (pictured) have been signed to star in and Richard Quine will direct “How To Murder Your Wife,” a new comedy and the first original screenplay by George Axelrod, who is also producing the United Artists release. Warren Beatty’s fifth film will be Columbia’s “Mickey One,” a crime film which Arthur Penn will direct and produce in March. The 26-year-old actor is cast as a nightclub performer in Alan M. Surgal’s screenplay. And Suzanne Pleshette and Nancy Kwan will join Glenn Ford and Rod Taylor in 20th Century-Fox’s “Fate Is the Hunter.” Based on Ernest K. Gann’s story of modern aviation, it is going before the cameras next week.
