Dec. 18, 1964 - Opening today is “Go Get Yourself a College Girl,” a Metrocolor comedy in the style of the recent beach party movies. The plot involves a college student (Mary Ann Mobley) who tries to balance her time writing songs and dealing with her publisher (Chad Everett) who tries to pursue her. The film features musical performances by the Animals, the Dave Clark Five, Stan Getz with Astrud Gilberto, and the Bellboys. It was directed by Sidney Miller, written by Robert E. Kent, and filmed at Sun Valley, Idaho.
