Jan. 2, 1964 - Two new Paramount presentations will have their world premieres in New York City in March. Both features will be shown on a reserved-seat basis. “Becket” (pictured), the screen version of Jean Anouilh’s play, with a cast headed by Peter O’Toole, Richard Burton, John Gielgud, and Martita Hunt, will open on March 11 at Loew’s State. The color drama, made in London, was directed by Peter Glenville. Later in March, “The Fall of the Roman Empire” will arrive at a theater to be announced. The Samuel Bronston production, made in Spain and Italy, stars Sophia Loren, Stephen Boyd, James Mason, and Alex Guinness. Anthony Mann directed.
