Nov. 14, 1961 - Lucille Ball and comedian Gary Morton obtained a marriage license today at New York City’s Municipal Building. Miss Ball said that she and Mr. Morton planned to be married Sunday at the Marble Collegiate Church, 5th Avenue and 29th Street, by the Rev. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. She said that the wedding would be a quiet ceremony, with her mother, two children, and a dozen friends attending. Miss Ball, 50, said she and Mr. Morton, 44, met a year ago on a blind date. He has appeared on the Broadway stage and in nightclubs. Miss Ball divorced TV producer Desi Arnaz last May after 20 years of marriage.
