Dec. 31, 1964 - Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy and nine other members of the late President’s family were celebrating New Year’s Eve quietly today. It was reported that they would not attend any parties during the evening.
The Kennedys spent much of the day skiing on Buttermilk and Ajax Mountains near Aspen, Colo., as they have done since arriving last weekend for an eight-day vacation.
John Jr. (left) tried out Ajax today with his uncle, Senator-elect Robert F. Kennedy, and took a spill in the snow.
