Sept. 8, 1963 - Guy Williams (pictured with Kathie Browne), who starred in “The Mark of Zorro” T.V. series, has been signed to a continuing role in NBC’s “Bonanza.” He will play Will Cartwright, a younger brother to Ben Cartwright (Lorne Greene), patriarch of the Ponderosa. Williams will appear first in a two-part episode to be filmed at Paramount Studios beginning Nov. 11. Williams is the second performer added to the regular cast for the coming season. Earlier, Kathie Browne was signed for a number of roles intended to culminate in her marrying Adam Cartwright (Pernell Roberts).
