Dodgers Top Colts as Duke Snider Ties Dodger RBI Record Set by Gil Hodges

May 15, 1962 - The Los Angeles Dodgers scored six runs on six hits in the seventh inning and defeated the Houston Colts, 10-7, tonight. A single by Maury Wills (pictured) drove in the run that put the Dodgers ahead in the seventh. Los Angeles got off to a one-run lead in the first inning on Willie Davis’s triple and Duke Snider’s single. The run batted in by Snider enabled him to tie the Dodger record of 1,254, set by Gil Hodges.
