Mar. 2, 1963 - Desi Arnaz and Edith Mack Hirsch were married today at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas in a ceremony witnessed by a few close friends, including Jimmy Durante and Van Johnson. It was Arnaz’s 46th birthday. His bride, who recently obtained a divorce from millionaire sportsman Clement Hirsch, is 45. Arnaz was formerly wed to Lucille Ball. They were divorced in 1960 after 19 years of marriage, and last year Miss Ball married Gary Morton, nightclub comic. Miss Ball sent the couple a horseshoe-shaped floral display with a card reading: “Congratulations on both of you picking a winner.” The couple will honeymoon at Indian Wells, a Palm Desert resort owned by Arnaz.
