Sept. 11, 1962 - Oldsmobile has shifted to a sleek, conservative look for 1963. Two new models have been added to the 98 series, a luxury sedan and a sports coupe. There are no additions to the other series: the Olds 88, the Super 88, and the compact F-85. The biggest styling change is in the standard-size cars. They have been squared off radically at both front and rear and veer to the bold motif of the Lincoln-Continental. The interiors of the standard-size cars have been sharply restyled, and luxury fittings have been added.
