Aug. 12, 1961 - George Blanda's passing led the Houston Oilers to an easy 35-17 victory today over the Oakland Raiders in an exhibition game between AFL teams at Honolulu Stadium. Blanda passed for the first touchdown and kicked all five extra points. His expert passing moved the league champions down the field easily throughout the game.
