Dec. 13, 1962 - The Buffalo Bills of the American Football League announced today the signing of two Notre Dame players, Daryl Lamonica (pictured #3) and Ed Hoerster. Lamonica, a 205-pound quarterback, was 24th choice of the Bills in the recent college draft and 12th of the Green Bay Packers of the NFL. Hoerster is a 225-pound offensive lineman who played a total of 413 minutes for Notre Dame. He was the Bills’ 16th draft choice and 10th of the NFL’s Chicago Bears.
