Aug. 1, 1962 - ABC announced today that its television coverage of American Football League professional games would begin on Sept. 9. The game to be televised in the East on that date and presented in New York over Channel 7 will feature an exhibition contest between the New York Titans and the Oakland Raiders in Oakland, Calif.
